This film traces the history of the Santa Barbara surf community. From the shaping revolution started by George Greenough in his garage to Channel Island, one of the biggest board brands in the world, from Bruce Brown's films to Tom Curren's roundhouse cut-back, this film tells the story of how a small community of surfing fanatics influenced the surfing world on every level.
The film is directed by Wyatt Daily, a photographer and director who co-founded Origins Archival, a digitization and restoration company specializing in the digitization of 8mm and 16mm film formats in 4k, and produced by Justin Misch, best known for producing The Good German with G. Clooney and C. Blanchett.
